What is CRDeclara?
CRDeclara is a Costa Rican application that automates accounting processes for QuickBooks Online users, especially the recording of electronic receipts (XML and PDF).

Who is the application aimed at?
For businesses, independent accountants, and accounting firms that use QuickBooks Online and want to save time and avoid accounting errors.

Does CRDeclara work with QuickBooks Desktop?
No. CRDeclara is only compatible with QuickBooks Online.

Is CRDeclara authorized by Intuit?
Yes. We are the only Costa Rican app officially published in the Intuit App Store for QuickBooks Online.

Does CRDeclara comply with Treasury regulations?
CRDeclara is not an e-invoicing provider, but it validates and processes official XML receipts generated and accepted by the Treasury. This allows you to record only valid documents and facilitates accounting and tax compliance from QuickBooks Online.

How are receipts sent to CRDeclara?

Can I view the XML files before submitting them?
Yes. CRDeclara allows you to view XML and PDF files without having to open emails.

Can the uploading of receipts to the platform be automated?
Yes. You can create an automatic forwarding rule in your email so that all receipts arrive in CRDeclara without manual intervention.

What happens if I send a duplicate receipt?
The system automatically detects duplicates and prevents repeated records.
Accounting Registry

Can I select accounting accounts per line of the receipt?
Yes. You can assign accounts, cost centers, and VAT rates per XML line, depending on what makes the most sense from an accounting perspective.

Can separate assets, inventories, and expenses be recorded?
Yes. Each line can go to a different account: expense, inventory, fixed assets, etc.

Does CRDeclara allow you to parameterize the behavior of certain suppliers?
Yes. With Autopilot, you can define how a supplier's future receipts are recorded.

Can I record issued receipts (sales)?
Yes. CRDeclara records issued and received receipts, including tickets and notes.

Can I decide whether a receipt is recorded as a credit or cash payment?
Yes. You can set this condition manually or leave it predefined with Autopilot.
Payments and Reconciliations

Does CRDeclara allow payments to be applied to invoices?
Yes. You can apply payments from the platform without leaving CRDeclara.

What is Payment Autopilot?
It's a feature that allows you to automatically apply payments if that provider's payment account is already defined.
Plans and Subscriptions

What plans are available?
We have plans starting at $35, depending on the volume of income and expense documents and the features activated.

What happens if I exceed the document limit?
You'll be notified and can change to the next plan. If the plan doesn't match, some documents may remain in the queue.

What payment methods do you accept?
Bank transfers.

Can I change plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan if your document volume or needs require it.
